To demonstrate our best Valentine’s Day spirit, we asked everyone on team PC what their favorite romantic comedies were, here’s what they had to say:

Tyler: I’m not a huge fan of romantic comedy movies, but Crazy Stupid Love always comes to mind as one of the best. It’s the only rom-com I’ve seen with a twist ending that actually caught me off guard, and it had a great cast!

Noah: My favorite rom-com would have to be Fools Rush In, only because I saw it probably 100 times as a kid. It was my dad’s favorite movie and he would always make my brothers and me watch it.

Jarid: The Big Sick is one of my favorite romantic comedies. I’m a fan of Kumail Nanjiani and this movie is a great and funny story of how he and his wife met and all the hardships they had to go through when they have differing cultural traditions.

Lindsay:
For Love of the Game. It’s a baseball story and an “impossible love” story rolled into one – a great combo!

JP:
One of my favorite romantic comedies is Fever Pitch. Jimmy Fallon is hilarious and it also doubles as a sports movie.

Taylor:
She’s the Man all the way!! It’s one of those movies with iconic quotes and I never get sick of watching it.

Kari: “Say Anything” – John Cusack with a boom box (yes, this gives away my age), blasting “In Your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel, outside beneath the window of his crush. *SWOON*

Chris: My best friend’s wedding!

Lori: I’m not a big fan of romantic comedies, but I do really like The Proposal. The scene in the woods with Sandra Bullock and Betty White is one of my all-time favorites – I laugh hysterically every time I see it. And also, duh, Ryan Reynolds!

Alma: The Proposal is my favorite! It’s just a super cute story line with a lot of my favorite actors.

Aaron: I’m not sure mine qualifies as a traditional rom-com because it doesn’t fit the stereotype/formula, but I’m going with The Princess Bride. It’s a comedy, it’s romantic, and it hits all the notes. I can quote every line, and I still laugh at every joke even though I know them all.
