It’s safe to say that one of the best parts of the holiday season is the treats, sweets and special holiday recipes that come along with it. In the spirit of the season, Team PC has decided to share a few of their favorite Christmastime treats. Take a look below!

“My must-have holiday treats have to be my grandma’s pumpkin pie and Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without those two.” – Andrea

“Eggnog! I don’t know how the tradition started, but my sister and I would eagerly await Thanksgiving for our first taste of Eggnog, and my mom would buy it through the holidays. Also, because I’m Jewish, I feel compelled to remind everyone that Latkes are THE BEST.”  – Aaron

“My favorite holiday treat is Hungarian Kifli Bread that a neighbor would make loaves of and give as gifts on Christmas Day. She would never give out the recipe and told us her grandmother made it since the turn of the century in Hungary. My brothers and I would fight over it!  To this day I have no idea what makes it so good!” – Chris

“My favorite holiday treat is my Aunt Patty’s chocolate covered peanut butter balls.” – Dan

“I always bake cookies at Christmas time – usually a few kinds. I used to bake with my mom every year, and now my two kids get to help me! :)” – Lindsay

“The two treats I look forward to the most around the holiday season are my dad’s special Banana Cream Pie and my best friend’s homemade toffee!” – Jessica

“Every year on Christmas morning at my parent’s house, the youngest typically wakes everyone up at the crack of dawn and we all gather in the living room and wait while my mom makes everyone a cup of homemade hot cocoa (with marshmallows, of course) to drink while we open presents. I look forward to that homemade hot cocoa every Christmas morning.” – Eden

“Every year my mom spends a day baking tons of cookies for family, friends and neighbors. I look forward to this day every year, and always invite myself over to eat way too many. :)” – Linsey

“I always look forward to my mom’s posole, tamales, and buñuelos (fried pastries with cinnamon sugar) on Christmas Eve. Yummy!” – Alma

“Snickerdoodle cookies bring me eternal joy!” – Matt

“Whenever I visit home for Christmas, my Dad grills the best fish tacos! It’s a weird combo with hot coco, but I always look forward to it.” – Jonathan

“I always look forward to Christmas because it means lots of baking! And trying out new Christmas cocktails :)” -Sarah

“Every year our family goes out to a Chinese restaurant on Christmas Eve. I always look forward to this because Chinese food is my favorite and it gives us some quality time together before Santa comes!” – Ronald

Team PC wishes everyone a very Happy Holiday!
