For Team PC, the month of August typically signifies one thing: the long-awaited, much-anticipated, annual Aly & Izy Golfing for NICU Babies Charity Golf Tournament! It’s always one of our favorite times of the year, and this year was certainly no different.
The Aly & Izy Foundation provides support and care to families with a premature or critically ill infant in one of the Sacramento area’s neonatal intensive care units, and 100 percent of the proceeds from the tournament go directly toward the foundation’s mission of assisting families with NICU babies.
This year’s tournament was once again held at Catta Verdera Country Club, and marked its fifth year. Building on the success of previous years, the team was determined to exceed the Foundation’s goals by increasing attendance and sponsors. With 144 players and sold-out sponsorships, we are proud to report that this year’s tournament marked our best turnout yet!
The tournament kicked off with a shotgun start, followed by a beautiful day out on the course. The event concluded with a banquet luncheon, complete with a raffle featuring exciting items and services donated by our generous sponsors. Each hole also provided players with snacks, refreshments and a little extra fun from the sponsors, our volunteers and the PC staff!
