So often in business, we assume that in order to be successful, everyone that we reach must agree with our message. Is that really the case? In a time where the Internet and social media have become such an integral part of not only our lives, but our businesses, wouldn’t we be better served finding people who already agree with our vision rather than fighting to change the minds of people that don’t?

In his TED Talk, “The Tribes We Lead”, successful entrepreneur and blogger Seth Godin gives his answer to this question. Throughout the course of his Talk, Godin stresses the importance of finding your “tribe” and connecting with those who already share your views and will help your spread your message.
