Since Prosio Communications was founded, almost eight years ago, one of our core values has been to work on projects that positively impact people’s lives – projects that make a difference. Almost nothing has affected people’s lives over the past year more than the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the massive upheaval the pandemic has had on people’s daily lives – from public health, to recreation, to their ability to spend time with loved ones, millions of people in California, and across the country are feeling financial strain as a result of this unprecedented public health crisis that could lead to housing insecurity.

We are proud to be partnering with the California Department of Housing and Community Development to launch a comprehensive public education and awareness campaign to inform Californians of the rights and resources available to them through the State Emergency Rental Assistance Program – a first of its kind program for the state of California. We will be designing a communication program that helps reach the hardest-hit renters and landlords in California, including minority and disadvantaged communities and neighborhoods across the cultural spectrum, to ensure they have access to these necessary resources as quickly and equitably as possible, and know how to apply for renters assistance.
