Name: Daniel Dedoshka
Title: Account Coordinator
Hometown: Davis, CA
But I wish I could live in: Las Vegas or Palm Springs
Accounts you work on: Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, Radoslovich Parker Turner, Aly & Izy Foundation and the California Office of Traffic Safety.
My professional superpower: Doing the heavy lifting around the office. What’s the point of working out if I don’t get to show off my big, massive muscles?!
Dog or cat: Dog – without question. Have you ever looked at a cat and not wondered if it was plotting your demise?
Favorite thing about my job: I have to go with my coworkers because they are always bringing in donuts, cookies or wine. They claim it’s for the entire office, but we all know it’s really for me.
Favorite Prosio Communications memory: Where do I start? These people make me laugh every single day. If I had to choose one, I’d go with our two-year anniversary wine tasting trip. The team had a great time and I really got to know everyone on a more personal level. Plus, it was quite entertaining to learn what music Lori likes to party to!
My reason to get out of bed in the morning: This seems like a trick question. My reason to get out of bed in the morning is so that I can bring my talents to the PC office and spend the day working with delightful and talented people. It’s certainly not to make millions of dollars and retire to Palm Springs so that I can play golf every day. That would be crazy…
I wish it could be this Holiday everyday: Apparently this great country refuses to recognize my birthday as a holiday, so I’d have to say the next best thing is Thanksgiving. There’s nothing better than watching football after having to remove your belt because of the 10 pounds you’ve just gained during the Thanksgiving feast – which for some reason happens at 3:00 in the afternoon.
The most-played song on my iPod: The greatest song of all time, or as others call it, “Gimme Shelter” by The Rolling Stones. Kids these days just don’t know what real musical talent is.
Celebrity who would play me in a movie: My Doppelganger, Terry Crews.
The best movie I have seen in the last six months: The Man from U.N.C.L.E. I haven’t seen many movies lately, but this one was definitely a home run.
Your three favorite books of all time: “I May be Wrong, but I Doubt it” by Charles Barkley, “Me of Little Faith” by Lewis Black and “A Random Walk Down Wall Street” by Burton G. Malkiel.
If I had to be a beverage I’d be: Illusive Traveler’s Grapefruit Ale. I like fruity beers, so what?
If I could dis-invent one thing, it would be: Leaf blowers. They are load, obnoxious and just plain awful. Especially at 7:00 in the morning!
I’m most proud of: My little sister. She works her tail off and it’s been amazing watching her achieve so much success at such a young age.
