Personally, the question of, “where do you see yourself in five years?” is one that has always triggered similar feelings to the infamous, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” Amazingly, it was just five years ago that I was barely one year out of high school, still attempting to determine how my Biology and U.S. History courses were really going to play a role in my life. Did I have any hunch that I was just a handful of years away from landing an amazing job with a stellar PR firm? Not. At. All.

I have to admit that I’m not a total believer in drumming up a strategic “five year plan”, but at the mere age of 23, I feel lucky to be settled in a career that I not only love, but always leaves me continuously striving to grow and improve. With all that I’ve learned in the past nine months, I can only imagine what awaits me during the next few years – and one thing I do know for certain is that my time thus far at PC has made me more eager than ever to see what the future holds.

So, no matter how many times I may rattle my brain in an effort to draw up those ideal five year goals, I feel refreshed in knowing that wherever I end up in five years, is exactly where I’m supposed to be– and if my time spent at PC thus far is any indication of my future, then I know am truly in for a fun and rewarding career.
